As a writer, Ryan got his start in the late 90’s writing scripts for the top wrestling promotions in the United States.  He wrote, produced, and directed 2 animated shorts “Adam & Steve” (1995) which won Spike & Mike’s Funniest Film Award and “Noah’s Fabulous Ark” (1996) which won the award for Best Animation Short. Ryan moved to Hollywood where he made his mark in the world of sports entertainment producing and directing such shows as “The Impact Zone” (1996), “U.I.W.A.” (1997-2000), and “So Cal:Uncensored” (2001-2004).  

 In 2005 Ryan wrote his first novel “The Books of Xenador”, which was optioned by Fox Atomic as a graphic novel series.  He returned to Hollywood to work on feature films, where he wrote and produced the horror film “Bloody Bobby (2015)”.  Ryan’s unique storytelling ability has caught the attention of Hollywood executives.  In 2014 he started his own production company Twisted Tall Tales, with a slate of films like “Diablo Steel” (2016), “Death Never Knocks” (2016), “Road Rage” (2016), “666: Highway To Hell” (2017), “Time Jacked” (2018), and “The Harlequin” (2019) currently in development.
