Actor/Producer/Alchemist

Curt Eric Clendenin began auditioning in Chicago’s entertainment industry, landing his first role as an Orphan for “The Blues Brothers” (1980). He’s acted in 15 plays such as: “The Trial”, “Ivanov”, “Glengarry Glen Ross” and “West Side Story”.  While learning improv at Second City, he co-founded three improv groups: “Sketches”, “Medium Rare” and “Fresh Leftovers”, producing sketch comedy at local restaurants. He studied more improv from Sheldon Patinkin and acted in plays at Columbia College. Curt’s paintings won awards at DuPage Art League Gallery shows, as he MC’d and played original songs at various open mics. After moving to California, he worked both behind and in front of the camera, on over 70 TV/movie productions such as: “Legally Blonde” (2001), “The Sweetest Thing” (2002), “Spider Man” (2002), “Scrubs” (2006), “Gilmore Girls” (2002-2007), and “Pirates of the Caribbean” (2007).  He can be seen in “Max Neptune and the Menacing Squid” (2010), “Bloody Bobby” (2017), and “Kaufman Lives” (2018).  His short film “The Jake Koffman Variety Show” was nominated for Best Parody at the 2015 Action On Film Fest. Recently Curt landed the roles of Alex Griffin in “Bloody Bobby: The Nightmare Reborn” (2018), and CJ Rodney in the highly anticipated film adaptation of the cult classic comic book, “Diablo Steel” (2019).
